Let’s slow stitch a mug rug! Practical scrap fabric hand sewing project for relaxation

Such a great way to use some scraps of fabric. These slow stitched mug rugs are easy to make and are a lovely relaxing slow stitching project. I used a scrap of recycled fleece to add the patchwork of fabric scraps onto then backed the project in some lovely yellow wool felt and added some vintage braid onto the edges. It's scrappy but I love it in those lovely warm sunshine colours - perfect for adding some colour to a room and having a practical use too. And so relaxing to make!
