In this episode I'm taking the R35 GTR to test the 100-200 times. After some changes to the setup I'm trying to refine what we have and see if anything needs tweaking. I wasn't running full power as I was on e67/e68 so it was probably around 5-8% less power than e85 which makes a difference. The DA on the day was also between 1500-1910ft which has an impact on performance. My previous PB 100-200 of 5.55s was set at a NEGATIVE DA of -160ft which would've seen performance increase. DA makes a difference to engine performance so worth researching if you don't know how it works. The tyre's aren't the best (Michelin Pilot Super Sports) so there is no point launching on those with this power level as they just spin. I did however do a baby launch (think it was 2600-2750rpm) at the end of the night just to see what would happen and it hesitated a little so need to try it again to see if it was a once off. The logs did show traction control kicked in and that I had 100% throttle but wasn't moving much and then I might have peddled it a bit by getting off and then on the throttle again. Otherwise car ran perfect with no issues through any of the runs, the check engine light came on on one or two runs it was a clutch slip warning, nothing to worry about as it needs to slip. Loving that you can easily check everything with the motec data logs and individually look at your runs.
