Could get some more flights with different antennas last weekend (time to fly is rare now). REALLY wanted to test the MapleWireless with their own L+R tx antennas, but you see in the video why it was not possible again. If this looks like I intentionally make them helicals from Henrik look better than MaplePatches - I don't. They are just good antennas and with flying higher this time they did show some nice range benefit (even the small Helicals have minimum doble the range!). The 7Turn (longhorns as I like to call them) didn't perform that much better - but maybe they would have been good for more range in the extreme low bitrate region where I didn't feel comfortable at all :) I heard reports of pilots getting 5+km on 25mw with them!
