Both were born with what appears to be the same genetic condition although their local doctors were not able to identify this rare disease due to the lack of resources. Both suffer from the same symptoms: a swollen forehead and deep set, narrow eyes and a difficulty to move around. But What is surprisingly very different is how people treat them. Pranshu is worshiped in his village as the reincarnation of the hindu God Ganesha. People see him as superior and come to him for blessings. He is cared for and loved in his community. But most importantly he is happy with the way he is. On the other hand, it's a total different story for Anchu who is far from being considered a god. He, in fact, suffers from bullying. As an escape, Anshu only likes to hangout with children because they accept him the way he is. As a result, Anshu does not accept himself the way he is. He works hard in a factory hoping to achieve, one day, his dream of being cured of this disease and look normal to be able to get married and have a family.
