Pinups: A collection of pin up art by Rodgon the artist. This book is packed with everything from rough sketches, black and white work to fully coloured rendered illustrations and paintings. From a range of traditional and digital mediums, there's something for everyone in this ( if you like pin up girls that is! ) Rodgon shows his range of cartoon styles, which really are beautiful and inspiring. As well as this the book has snippets of text throughout, explaining the subject, the thought process and some general tips, all of which I thought were really motivating to me as an artist. I don't own any of the other Rodgon sketchbooks / art books but hopefully I can get my hands on them soon. I was really pleased with this purchase though so highly recommend it. Rodgon definitely seems to have a great outlook on drawing, and it shows through in his illustrations. He has an awesome YouTube channel and courses so I will stick some links below ( I recommend the Sketchbook tour videos!) What do you guys think to this one?
