Camino Primitivo: The Power of Silence King Alfonso started the first Camino for a lay person and the rest is history. We walked this camino without proper preparations, no plans, no reservations and no gps just like a medieval pilgrim. How will we fare? We started at the original capital of Modern Spain - Oviedo, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We spent 16 days walking with one day of stop in Lugo, the most intact Roman walled city in the world with a surprise tradition with perhaps that no one has in the world.
