It would be nice if helicopters in the game would "land" better when you shot out the pilot considering they fall so slowly like they have the incorrect mass values they shouldn't blow up that easily when touching the ground. Although please keep in mind I'm not suggesting they go back to previous Battlefield games where you could bounce off everything on the ground including any tree or other object at any speeds. The jets in this game still appear to have that privilege and it's silly to watch them bounce off buildings and trees. Regarding the delay of Season 1 for Battlefield 2042. There is only so much you can speculate about. It's interesting though depending on how you look at it. If they or management at DICE were fine with the status quo wouldn't they continue with the March release date ( assuming that wasn't a rumor and was officially announced at some point previously )? Delaying and talking about specific issues to address in the game seems like a different response than usual. Although I can see the other side of it as well as part of me thinks it's similar to the delay of the launch/release. The state it was in was bad and they didn't really have the appropriate developer resources and time to get it into a "reasonable" state prior to the holiday season. This could just be a continuation of that where they have the limited resources or not enough to complete everything within the given timeframe. I bring this up because if Ripple Effect ( DICE LA ) was working on the Portal and DICE Sweden was working on the main game what was Criterion Games working on? Hazard Zone? Like how they did Firestorm in BFV? If so does that mean they would pass it off to DICE Sweden after the game is launched putting more on their list of things to work on? I don't know it's just speculation but it's interesting they'd delay it when it didn't seem like there was going to be that much content in the original Season 1 for the game.
