His music is best described as electronic soul or, to use his own expression, ‘suburban blues’. Sub Blue offers intelligent and introspective song writing, giving a suburban snapshot of teenage life in Merseyside, with all its energy, angst and abandon of adolescence. Releases including ‘Hype Like Supreme’, ‘Teen No More’ and ‘Take a Picture’ offer explorations of 21st century life. Renowned for his outstanding live sessions, Sub Blue recently played award winning music festival LIMF. His debut EP, Suburban View, came out earlier this year. Signature Living’s Signature Live Sessions are unique live gigs in Liverpool. The city’s latest and greatest artists will be performing every month on the Eden rooftop at The Shankly Hotel with the iconic Liverpool skyline as a backdrop.
