There were a few people in the group chat that wanted a video on Maricann, so I decided to look into it and give you my honest opinion. I am going to start of with the positives, than move onto the negatives. The company, founded in 2013, is fully licensed and based in Toronto, Canada. The company went public around April, 2017 under the Canadian Securities Exchange. They cultivate, extract, formulate and distribute medicinal product. On January 9,2018 Maricann closed their first capital raise of about 40 million dollars. Maricann is currently expanding its cultivation and support facilities in Langton Ontario. The current facility 942,000 sq. ft (87,515 sq. m). capable of producing 95,000 kg of dry product flower per year to support existing and future patient growth. The company has more than 11,000 total registered patients. They have not updated their roster of registered patients. Maricann has a deal with Lovell Drugs Limited, one of the oldest independent drug store chains in Ontario, to be the primary and exclusive provider of medicinal cannabis products to its patients.
