お遍路八十八霊場の番外編ともいうべき別格二十寺の巡礼シリーズです。 この二十寺を走破すると、お遍路の８８寺と合わせて合計108寺となります それは人間の煩悩の数であり、これを歩き切ることで煩悩を克服できるといいます 英語版と日本語版を公開いたしますので、これからまわるお遍路の参考に、あるいはお遍路の疑似体験になれば幸いです 別格二十寺　第十一番札所　生木地蔵（いききじぞう） ●寺の歴史/縁起 生木地蔵（生木山正善寺）はその昔より生木のお地蔵さまと呼ばれており、その名も高く青葉しげる楠の木に刻まれた、そのままの姿の地蔵である 生木地蔵の名はこれに由来する 弘法大師が一切衆生済度のために、この四国八十八カ所の御霊場を開かんと山々谷々まで経巡りて四尾山の麓に一夜の偕寝した その夜の事、この山に輝光を観得せられ暁に至っては紫雲たなびくと、世にも目出度い楠の大木をみた すると殊勝の童子が示現し霊告した 御仏、「童子の化身を以て我に示し給う」と大師は三拝し、その夜この楠の大木に一刀三禮しの御霊刀をふるい延命地蔵大菩薩の御尊像を彫刻したが、早朝、雲水を以て閼水となし、開眼の秘事も済ませるとそのままこの地を発ったという 残念ながら昭和二十九年九月二十六日洞爺丸台風の烈風にて楠の霊木は根元より倒れたが、大師自作の地蔵は倒れず、昔日のお姿のまま今も安泰である #ohenro , #Pilgrim, #Shikoku, #Japan, #journey This is the film by Ohenro Index. Extra 20 temples＃11 Ikiki-Jizo ●About this temple Ikugi Jizo (Ikugiyama Shozenji Temple) has been known as Ikugi Jizo since ancient times, and as its name is known, it is a Jizo carved into a camphor tree with high green leaves. The name of Ikugi Jizo comes from this. Kobo Daishi traveled to the mountains and valleys of Shikoku to open the 88 sacred sites of Shikoku for the sake of the salvation of all sentient beings, and rested for one night at the foot of Mt. That night, I saw a bright light on this mountain, and at dawn, when purple clouds were waving, I saw a huge camphor tree that was one of the most remarkable in the world. Then a special child appeared to him and gave a spiritual message. The master bowed three times, saying, ``You will show me the incarnation of a child.'' That night, he swung a spiritual sword of one sword and three blessings on this large camphor tree, and carved a statue of the Enmei Jizo Daibodhisattva. It is said that in the early morning, at dawn, he left this place after completing the mystery of opening his eyes with clouds and water. Unfortunately, on September 26, 1945, the camphor tree fell down from the base due to the strong winds of the Toyamaru Typhoon, but the Jizo created by Daishi himself did not fall and is still safe and secure as it was in the past.
