She feared Muhammad’s cruelty and desertion and believed he may divorce her, so she makes a deal with him so she can remain under the protection of the marriage. Wouldn’t the man who is supposed to be the shining moral beacon of Islam quickly quiet the irrational fears of his wife and assure her of his love and commitment? Instead of this, Muhammad takes her deal to ignore her and spend more evenings with his other wives to fulfill his lustful desires. Allah, of course, condones and approves of this practice and gives no protection to women. Muhammad seems to constantly receive revelations that satisfy his every whim and desire.
