¡Ultreia! The pilgrims’ salute to “carry on” and “journey beyond” what’s possible. We made it! We walked to the End of the World and the Coast of Death (Finisterre and La Costa da Morte) and it was fantastic. This is part 11 (AKA the Epilogue) of our Camino Norte journey as we go beyond Santiago de Compostela to Fisterra and Muxía. We hiked 117.5 km from Santiago de Compostela to Fisterre and Muxía in 5 days. This is our first time walking the Camino Del Norte. We hiked the Camino del Norte during June, July, and August of 2019, finishing the route in 46 days (including Finisterre and Muxia). In 2017, we walked the Camino Frances from Saint Jean Pied du Port to Santiago de Compostela. We packed ultralight bags for both journeys.
