New Orchestral Suite from Star Wars: Heir to the Empire. Music: Arturo Boscovich/John Williams

Music by Arturo Díez Boscovich (based on the novels by Timothy Zahn, featuring thematic material by John Williams) A newly expanded and re-orchestrated version of my symphonic suite inspired by the literary trilogy Heir to the Empire—the unofficial continuation of the classic Star Wars saga. This live recording, performed on October 25th, 2025, features the Málaga Symphony Orchestra and the Granada Chamber Choir, as part of the MOSMA Festival (Movie Score Málaga). The suite unfolds through the main themes and leitmotifs that follow the story of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, and the original heroes of the saga: Opening Titles Thrawn’s Chamber and the Empire under the Grand Admiral’s Command Mara Jade’s Theme Fanfare for the Bimms’ Welcome to Luke, Leia, Solo, and Chewbacca Ambush! Final Battle, Death of Thrawn, and Peace in the Galaxy A score written with deep respect for the musical legacy of John Williams, yet with its own voice—seeking to capture the epic, melancholic, and luminous spirit of the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
