Aye on the Go features poems and tunes composed and performed by Sandy Reid on location in North East Scotland. Among the places visited are Cairnbulg, Inverallochy, St. Combs, Old Rayne, Insch, Premnay, Drum o' Wartle, Rothienorman, Folla Rule, Durris, Fettercairn, Drumtochty, Cairn o' Mount, Aboyne, Dess, Lumsden, Rhynie, The Cabrach, Millbuie, Turriff, Alford, Catterline, Gourdon, Johnshaven, Glenlivet, Banff, Torphins, Tarland, Finzean and Crichie. Filmed in 2005. Sandy is a retired Superintendent of Grampian Police. Over the years he has composed a great number of poems relating to life in North East Scotland. He has also composed several dozen accordion tunes. During his Police Service he served in many localities in the area. Sandy has entertained the residents of retirement homes and members of local organisations with his compositions most of his life. Ross Records recorded a series of audio cassettes covering all of his works and this was followed by the filming of five videos. The video locations have covered practically every town and village in the North East.
