MACRAME TUTORIAL - DIY Boho Macrame Wall Hanging

In this video you’ll learn how to make this bohemian inspired macrame wall hanging. This has been one of my favorite custom designs to create so far! The soft lines and curves form a simple boho chique design. 3 basic macrame knots were used to create this macrame wall hanging: larks head knot, square knots and clove hitch knots (also referred to as double half hitch knots) Rope measurements: First layer: -4 x 4mm rope of 2 meters each -22 x 4mm rope of 120 centimeters each -2 x 4mm rope of 150 centimeters each Second layer: 4 x 4mm rope of 120 centimeters each 1 x 4mm rope of 120 centimeter 46 x 4mm rope of 50 centimeters each These measurements are for rope with a thickness of 4mm. If you are using 3mm rope you can use slightly less, if you are using 5mm rope you will need to increase the length. I used a 45 centimeter dowel for this. You can also use a branch or bamboo stick for a more rustic look.
