Testing two Mojotone Brownface Kit Amps

I dig tube amps! The one on the right was built for Rick N. and I'm conducting a few tests before we ship it. I own the example on the left and you'll hear it for a little bit then it fails. We suspect it was built by a beginner. The one on the right was built by an expert and I expect it to work very well for a long time. The brown face Fender amp era was 1959-1963. I really like these amps. The Beatles used a brownface Bassman for many of their greatest recordings including "While My Guitar gently weeps" with Eric Clapton on lead. They sound pretty well-behaved at low volume and are nice for normal clean tone. When cranked up to 4-5 they start to really bark. Turning up from there they get more distorted. Very aggressive! I just love them! Mojotone kit amps are a reasonably affordable way to get into this great sounding tube amp.
