Words from DJ Die: "Its 6am on Sunday morning and the tent is packed. Steam from the sweat is rising from the sides and I'm nervously waiting by the side of the decks waiting to play one of my first big sets at a free rave. A load of us had piled up from Bristol after we caught wind something was going on at this travellers site called Forest Hill just outside Oxford. When we got there the party has already been going for days and showed no sign of slowing. A local Soundsystem called Street Level supplied the rig and EasyGroove and DJ Shocka had already played. 20 mins before I was asleep in a car but my friend and fellow DJ Tommy B woke me up to tell me ‘quick I've managed to blag you a set’ I had already played at house party’s and a few local free raves but this one was different. We were in another city that had a really strong rave scene and all the heads were at this party. Here is part of my set recorded live and direct to cassette.
