Ottawa musician Allie O’Manique, who records under the project name of Jasmine Trails, is known for crafting songs that feel profoundly intimate yet expansive. Blending elements of dream folk, ambient pop, and mystic wonderment, Allie has been said to “create languid melancholic soundscapes” that are rooted in storytelling and elevated by atmospheric production. Her music often explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments, drawing listeners in with honest lyrics and a warm, emotive vocal style. Her latest release is “Eno & I Down The Healing Path”, a demos collection. “I made these at home, having fun, enjoying creativity, being silly, making noises... super lucky to do all this.” In our ongoing Talking Albums series, Allie tells us about her music and albums that are special to her. = = Instagram @jasminetrailsss bandcamp https://jasminetrailsss.bandcamp.com = = = = The Record Centre is a beloved destination for music enthusiasts in Ottawa, Canada.
