Here is the Remastered of the Miramax version that nobody asked for. After the release of the Calvert version, Miramax distributed the North American rights in December 1994 as no other companies wanted to distribute it. Originally it was going to be the Calvert version, however, then-president of Miramax Harvey Weinstein, thought it was a good idea to recut it even further. Not only that, more voices were replaced and added. They got Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Beals, Toni Collette, and giving voices to mute characters like the Thief as Jonathan Winters. It was called, "Arabian Knight" when it was released in theaters on August 1995, but on home video, they used the original title, "The Thief and the Cobbler". I personally do not like this version at all. The voices are annoying, the cuts are irritating, the sound mixing is so bad, and adding more changes are very unnecessary. For some reason, the new voices, music, and sound effects are a lot louder than what was present in the Calvert version, never in my life how I came across such a thing, reminds me of DBZ Ocean Dub. Enjoy. I don't own anything in the video. All credit goes to the following person, Richard Williams (creator of The Thief and the Cobbler). And a nobody (who made a Fan-Edit and hates this version as well).
