Does WEN honor their WARRANTY? This shows my experience dealing with WEN tools and needing something fixed on a WEN thickness planer I bought off of amazon a year ago. The problem with the WEN 6550 12.5” thickness planer came when I needed to change the knives. A jib screw was starting to strip out so I wanted to replace it before the 1 year warranty was up. I contacted WEN tools via email and show you their responses. This is the same Wen 6550 12.5” thickness planer I reviewed in my “cheapest thickness planer on Amazon” review. I definitely still recommend this Wen thickness planer for anyone on a budget.
