I didn’t think gaming journalism could fall any lower, but then I stumbled across this article from PC Gamer by Stevie Bonifield titled “Assassin's Creed Shadows hits 2 million players, putting it on track to be the series' most successful game yet.” (archive link) ...And let me tell you: this might be the worst piece of “reporting” I’ve read in my entire life. It’s not just bad — it’s insultingly bad. And thinking back on all the articles I've read over the years... that's a big yikes.
