Vertical Entertainment will release Martyrs director Pascal Laugier‘s Incident in a Ghostland in theaters and on VOD platforms June 22, 2018. An unconfirmed Amazon date also says Lionsgate will release on DVD July 24th. Last November, Bloody Disgusting shared an exclusive first look at images from Laugier‘s newest film starring Mylène Farmer, Crystal Reed, and Anastasia Philipps. “The story follows a mother of two who inherits a home from her Aunt. On the first night in the new home, she is confronted with murderous intruders and fights for her daughter’s lives. Sixteen years later when the daughters reunite at the house, and that is when things get strange…” This exclusive clip looks like it’s from the aforementioned opening sequence. In it, a mother calls for help as a massive man – looking like Kane in See No Evil – drags two young girls to the basement. As they round the stairs on their way down, they pass a disfigured woman who gives them the middle finger leading to several questions….
