The 3rd edition of Arunachal Runway, one of the premier fashion and cultural showcases of the state, concluded successfully yesterday at Wai International Hotel, Itanagar, amid much enthusiasm and celebration. This year’s edition was dedicated to the Adi community, with the theme “Solung Gidi Em Agampe”, paying tribute to the rich heritage and traditions of the Adis. The runway featured a collaborative collection by seven talented young designers, who together presented innovative creations blending traditional motifs with contemporary fashion sensibilities. The evening was graced by rural Development and Panchayatiraj Minister Shri Ojing Tasing as the chief guest, and former Adi Baane Kebang (ABK) President Shri Toni Pertin as the guest of honour. The event witnessed the participation of fashion enthusiasts, cultural workers, youth representatives, and art lovers, making it a vibrant celebration of creativity and identity.In his address, Shri Ojing Tasing lauded the efforts of the Arunachal Runway team in creating a platform for young designers to express themselves while preserving indigenous aesthetics.
