Did I have to do the boss fight with only stasis? No. Did I do it anyway? Yes. Why? "Stick around. I'm full of bad ideas." Did it break the game a little? Yes. Would I do it again? Just try to stop me. While not much of a challenge in itself, it was more of a test to see if it could actually be done. Which shockingly, it actually was. Stasis has an added effect of destroying chest sacs without them ever showing up for some reason and completely skips Hive Mind's acid phase. Is it more efficient to do it this way? Probably not. But, I would call it safer from a mechanical standpoint as all he does are tentacle slams, pods and necromorph summon. I will probably also test out both Leviathan's fights as well and see if I can make it work with stasis/kinesis only. At that point a full melee/kinesis/stasis playthrough could be possible.
