Around 80 minutes during a wet misery afternoon at York railway station on the East Coast Mainline, with purpose of seeing one of the Class A4 steam icons at the station, that being 4498 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ after returning to mainline operation following years of a major overhaul. Brilliant it was to seeing that beauty, there was also the usual intercity and commuter passenger services along with the odd movement.
