The SCARIEST Way to Play OUTLAST? OUTLAST VR Gameplay

OUTLAST VR is possible and it's probably the scariest most immersive way to play this horror classic... BUT you'll need pretty strong VR legs and a tolerance for less than perfect VR experiences if you want to try this yourself because the only way to experience VR Outlast... is with VORPX! That's right, I'm using Vorpx in 2025 to see how it compares to modern VR mods like UEVR and the dozens of amazing community created VR mod experiences we have now. One thing is almost immediately clear, Vorpx feels very dated now and even one of it's best VR experiences, Outlast VR, feels much more janky than I remember it feeling 4 years ago! Outlast VR is definitely playable from start to finish with VORPX and quality of life upgrades like being able to use Touch Controllers to play the game straight out of the box is awesome, but there's no denying how strange the VR looks after spending an extended period of time with UEVR. Vorpx looks far more like a giant screen wrapped around you that's trying to replicate the feeling of native VR, whereas UEVR feels like you're actually immersed into the game much like a native VR experience.
