This video refers to the case report published in the following JMIG article : https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jmig.2022.0... Authors: Jeremy Sroussi, PhD; Cynthia Lecurieux-Lafayette, PhD; Jean Louis Benifla, PhD A 38-year-old woman (G6P0) referred with oligomenorrhea and secondary subfertility. A diagnostic hysteroscopy revealed dense intrauterine adhesions (IUAs) at the cervical isthmus, lateral uterine walls and in front of both tubal ostia. Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis was performed using a Versapoint resectoscope restoring the normal cavity. Hyaluronic acid (HA) gel was injected as an adhesion prevention barrier. A 6-month follow-up diagnostic hysteroscopy revealed recurrence of dense IUAs. The patient was re-listed for a second operative hysteroscopy under ultrasound guidance three months later and the dense IUAs were resected with a Versapoint followed by HA gel installation. However, a 6-month follow-up diagnostic hysteroscopy revealed IUAs recurrence, hence, a repeat operative hysteroscopy was planned. On the 3rd operative hysteroscopy a Versapoint resectoscope was used for IUAs resection, restoring the uterine cavity followed by Womed Leaf® insertion. A follow-up diagnostic hysteroscopy 5 months later confirmed no IUAs recurrence. The patient reported that her periods have returned back to normal and she was enrolled into the assisted conception program.
