Alison Albee, Ph.D. discusses the failures and successes and perhaps the underrated miracle of genetic science in her talk that uses the work of Gregor Mendel as the backdrop. Dr. Albee is an Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences who teaches Cell Biology and Genetics. She received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Purdue University and her PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She came to St. Louis to pursue her post-doctoral studies at Washington University in St. Louis before joining the faculty at Lindenwood University in 2013. This talk was given at Lindenwood University, St. Charles, MO at TEDxLindenwoodU an independently organized event using the TED conference format.
