Hey there folks, thanks for checking out this next episode in the Permaculture Pirate series! Today is another go at free food as we attempt to bring home some wild Hawthorn berry trees for our collections around the yards. There are a few ways that we identified these as Hawthorn berries. First was the red berry which looks quite similar to a rose hip, second were the jagged edges on the leaves that make them stand out from the other vegetation and third of course are the large & sturdy thorns.
