Iran held a funeral ceremony on Tuesday (October 15) in Tehran's Imam Hossein Square for Revolutionary Guards' deputy commander Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, who was killed in the Israeli strikes on Beirut along with Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah on September 27, Reuters reported. High-level state and military officials, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and a person who appeared to be the top commander of Iran's Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, were among the attendees.
