Experience the thrill of the Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 — the world's largest military airshow — from the unique vantage point of Totterdown Hill Farm’s Park & View Campsite near Fairford, UK. ✈️🇬🇧 📍 Why Park & View? We chose this budget-friendly alternative to RIAT’s official car parks for its proximity to the runway. While we missed out on static displays and close-up helicopter performances, we enjoyed spectacular views of the aerial displays — all from the comfort of our campsite. 🛩️ Aircraft Featured (Order of Appearance): 1. It’s only an hour’s drive from Bristol, but we added a contingency hour for traffic — hoping to arrive by 6am, well ahead of the 10am air displays. Our relaxed morning included breakfast, prepping a food hamper, cold drinks, and a flask of hot water. But just as we were about to leave, our cat went walkabout — unusual for her age. She returned at 4:30am, and we set off. What should’ve been a one-hour drive turned into two. Most roads to Park & View were blocked due to RIAT traffic control. We got misdirected via the blue route, then the green, and eventually found an unmarked side road — arriving at 6:30am, just as heavy rain began. Thankfully, the rain stopped just before 10am, and the rest of the day stayed dry until 5pm — perfect timing for the air displays. The campsite was excellent: spacious pitches, clean facilities, food vendors, and a relaxed atmosphere. Some visitors stayed for the weekend in tents and camper vans. We left at 5pm but again faced redirected traffic. Instead of heading south to Bristol, we had to detour north via Cheltenham — arriving home after 7pm. Despite the travel hiccups, it was a brilliant day and absolutely worth the effort. 🔗 Related Videos: • [Anglesey Travel Guide]( • Anglesey Travel Guide: Penrhos Walk, Puffi... ) • [Plane Spotting at RAF Valley]( • Plane Spotting at RAF Valley, Anglesey | T... ) 👍 Like, comment, and subscribe for more British travel vlogs, scenic drives, and quirky moments from our adventures! #RIAT2025 #RoyalInternationalAirTattoo #FairfordAirshow #ParkAndView #TotterdownHillFarm #AirshowVlog #MilitaryAircraft #PlaneSpottingUK #RedArrows #EurofighterTyphoon #F35Lightning #Spitfire #Hurricane #FrecceTricolori #AviationEnthusiast #BritishTravelVlog #ScenicDrivesUK #AirTattooExperience
