Archival footage unlocked: Back in 1994, White Zombie’s J. Yuenger encountered a KTS bootleg for the first time, captured backstage at the Adler Theatre in Davenport, Iowa, for my cable access show, ZTV. More than three decades later, this moment surfaces online for the very first time. My buddy Phil Vernon is on camera with J. while I speak off-screen. Should I share more? About ZTV: Before he became known as The Rock Father and a leading voice in toys and entertainment, James Zahn founded ZTV at just 15 years old in the Quad Cities. The underground music and pop culture show aired on local cable in the early ’90s — serving up MTV energy on a DIY budget. ZTV featured backstage interviews, live performances, and exclusive moments with acts ranging from local up-and-comers to touring heavyweights like Faith No More and White Zombie. In the pre-YouTube era, ZTV became a gateway to bigger things. The experience planted the seeds for Zahn’s future in media and laid the foundation for what would eventually grow into The Rock Father, The Toy Book, and beyond. #WhiteZombie #MusicHistory #ZTV #TheRockFather #RockFatherOrigins #CableAccess #RobZombie #SeanYseult
