The haunting song originally sung by Noriko Mitose in Chrono Cross’ ending credits scene where (without giving away too many spoilers) a real-life Kid wanders around a modern city looking for someone. I always enjoy (as much as I hate) ambiguous endings like these, since it leaves it up to the players’ interpretations on what happens at the end. I probably can’t do the simplicity and the elegance of the original song justice, but it didn’t stop me from trying with my own interpretation of the song with solo guitar, piano, and strings.
