It’s finally done. In this episode, we complete the restoration of this 19-year-old car. After weeks of repair, paint correction, detailing, and refinishing work, the project officially reaches its final stage. Before final assembly, the rear bumper needed proper refinishing. Here’s the full process: • 400 grit sanding • Plastic filler application • 240 and 600 grit sanding • Plastic adhesion promoter (clear primer for plastic) • Light tack coat • Full base coat application Once the paint cured, we moved on to the most satisfying part of any car restoration — full reassembly. All exterior trims, lights, panels, and restored components were carefully reinstalled. Any parts that couldn’t be repaired were replaced and properly fitted to complete the build. This marks the official completion of the project.
