My DeWalt DW927 cordless drill uses 12V nicad batteries. I'm getting tired of replacing them with new expensive nicad batteries only to have them degrade after a year or two and stop holding a charge. I decided to try rebuilding one of them using lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4). WARNING: Lithium batteries are dangerous and can result in fire!
