For almost 50-years now, Bishop John Yaw Adu has been at the forefront of spreading the gospel and healing the sick (including the mad). When God called him, he says, he understudied a priest in the now Bono Region for seven (7) years. He wore no footwear in this whole period. Bishop J.Y Adu later started plying his trade as a servant of God setting up in Nkoranza (Bono East Region) and later moved to Kumasi. He is currently at Sↄkↄban-Ampeyoo in the Ashanti Region where he acts as the founder and leader of the New Jerusalem Chapel.
