My First Thomas & Friends Parody of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I have three more planned after this one. In this one the dwarfs/narrow gauge engines come back to their cottage to find it cleaned (by Snow White, who will appear in the next Parody). An "Epic Sneeze" is featured here. Parody 1 Cast Duke-Doc Sir Handel-Grumpy Peter Sam-Happy Rusty-Sleepy Skarloey-Bashful Rheneas-Sneezy Duncan-Dopey I chose these engines for the dwarfs since I thought I might use Ertl models. I chose Duke for Doc since he seems like a good leader, and the words "Duke" and "Doc" sound alike. I chose Sir Handel as Grumpy because he is grumpy in Season 4, and Sir Handel didn't work with the other dwarfs. Peter Sam is Happy, because upon their arrival, Sir Handel said the shed was too small, whereas Peter Sam cheerfully said he thought it was nice. Rusty is also happy in seasons 4, 5 and 6, but when I lined the engines up in the dwarf's marching order, I liked the position of Peter Sam as Happy better. Rusty is Sleepy because that was the last role left. Skarloey is bashful because he is bashful in recent seasons, or at least timid, and Bashful didn't work with any other engine. Rheneas is Sneezy because in most if not all of the Michael Brandon narrations of the series, Rheneas sounds stuffed up in the nose. Duncan is Dopey because Duncan is dopey in recent seasons. While Skarloey could have also worked for Dopey, and Duncan could have worked for Grumpy, well, if you read this paragraph thoroughly, you should know how Grumpy and Skarloey were taken. In addition to shots from the TV series, I also have some Ertl animation I made myself for this parody, as well as an illustration from one of the original books.
