Scottish á Virmoux

Scottish á Virmoux is a dance tune in two parts, AABB. Originally discovered in a tune collection belonging to a Mr. Virmoux, a band master during the 1920s and 1930s in a village called Lurcy-Lévis (in France) this tune has since been re-arranged for hurdy gurdy by Frederic Paris: while the original tune most likely consisted of three parts with modulations, Paris' version of this tune features two parts and no modulations, making it ideal for the hurdy gurdy.
