As a small artist, it's like a dream come true o.o I highly recommend this course if you are really interested in character design! I have watched lot of tutorials and this one is the best o.o This 26 hours course start with quick summary of fundamentals like basic shapes, anatomy, perspective, colour and light. Then finally begin the design theory after 12 hours, starts with how to gather ideas and building proper workflow. Rinotuna explains ton of design theories along with examples. Then finally Rinotuna shows his full process of designing a character based on jellyfish, starting from breaking down the keywords for the design, drafting, and full rendering process explained o.o Pros: lesson from a character design master, Rinotuna ! fully explained from gathering the idea, making good workflow, to finishing up the illustration clear theory then followed with its direct application design theory is most complicated things but Rinotuna proved examples directly so it's much easier to understand! Cons: audio is Korean (Rinotuna own voice o.o), it's a bit hard to draw along while reading the subtitle (meanwhile I also did the same here o.o) subtitle is too short for my taste, I prefer a fuller sentence sub sometime the video player is not stable Note: all cons are not directly about the course.
