Follow me on Instagram: / fourwheeltrader Contact me at: fourwheeltrader@gmail.com With a mid-engine layout, a manual options, and a relatively low weight, the lotus Evora might be the dream of every petrolhead. However, the same is offered by the class leading Porsche Cayman. In the video we will first explore the Evora market and then compare this market to the Porsche Cayman. More precisely, we will investigate the differences in pricing, depreciation per 1000 miles driven, and value development during the last seven months. This reveals that from a monetary perspective, a used Evora GT offers extremely good value from money when compared to an equivalent used GTS 4.0 or 718 GT4. The main reason for this is that the depreciation per 1000 miles is higher for the Evora GT, resulting in a lower price for a slightly used one. Yet, when the evora is compared to a cayman based on pricing alone, a comparison to the 981 GT4 needs to be made. In that case cayman might have the upper hand as future value development is likely to be more favourable. 00:00 Evora vs Cayman 01:06 Evora prices, depreciation, and value development 06:25 Price comparison 09:00 Depreciation comparison 11:11 Value development comparison 12:22 Conclusion: Does the Evora offer better value from money?
