Moving into 2025, both have been given major makeovers. The new models are aesthetically more pleasing, sportier and more fuel efficient. As before there are the boxier crossover units and the sleek Sportback models. While the third-generation crossover is a handsome piece in its own right, it’s the second-gen Sportback that draws eyes to it — the fastback roofline adds a healthy dose of swagger and daring to its dash. What’s new for 2025 Audi Q5 and SQ5? Perhaps the better question is what’s not new such is the extent of the rework. Both the Q5 and SQ5 have fresh looks with the matrix headlights, digital OLED taillights and customizable daytime driving lights adding some real visual zing day or night. It also rides on a new platform, has two significantly reworked engines and a two-motor 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
