Recipe: Bhuna Khichuri Portion - 04 Gobindo Bhog Rice 200 gms Mung Dal 150 gms Mustard Oil 100 ml Potato 150 gms Cauliflower 100 gms Green Peas 50 gms Tomato 100 gms Ginger 30 gms Green Chillies 15 gms Whole Garam Masala 2 gms Whole Red Chilli 2 nos Cumin Seeds 2 fms Turmeric Powder 3 gms Cumin Powder 3 gms Cashewnut 30 gms Raisins 20 gms Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 2 gms Water As Require Ghee 20 gms Garam masala powder 2 gms Salt To Taste Sugar 15 gms Brinjal 1 No 1. Cut potatoes in half, Cauliflower in forest, Tomato in dice, brinjal, and potato in thick slices for fries. 2. Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes. 3. Heat oil and fry the potatoes and cauliflower with turmeric and salt till light brown in colour. 4. Heat oil and fry the soaked rice. 5. Dry roast the Mung dal and wash thoroughly with water. 6. Heat oil and temper with whole garam masala, cumin seeds, and whole red chilli. 7. Add ginger paste and cook for 2 minutes and add cumin powder, turmeric powder, and Kashmiri red chilli powder, and cook for some time. 8. Add tomato to the masala and cook for some time. 9. Add roasted dal and fried gobindobhog rice and mix well. 10. Add warm water to the mixture in a 1:2 ratio and mix well. Add green peas, fried potato, and cauliflower. 11. Add salt and whole green chillies and cook everything till rice and dal are cooked and the water dries out. 12. Once everything becomes soft, finish with ghee, garam masala powder, and sugar, and keep it covered for one minute. 13. Serve hot with fried brinjals and potato. Thank you for watching the recipe.
