In this video ‪@JafffaAdventures‬ finds a solution to fitting a rear axle handbrake to an early model 40 Series Landcruiser. My Toyota Landcruiser FJ45 came with a tail shaft handbrake. As I am replacing the engine and gearbox, I needed an alternative to this tail shaft handbrake. A later model Landcruiser rear axle handbrake (from and early model 80 Series, 75 Series or 60 Series Landcruiser) can be used as a solution for my FJ45 Landcruiser restomod build. For those with a Landcruiser with a 6 bolt backing plate, there are few options available. I detail one option here.
