China's Warlord Era Series - The Zhili-Anhui War of 1920

This episode of China's Warlord Era is on the Zhili-Anhui War of 1920 Yuan Shikai died and left a fragmented and broken China during the end half of WW1. To pick up the pieces were the warlords of various cliques such as the Anhui Clique, Zhili Clique and Fengtian Clique. China's Warlord Era was a bitter struggle where Beiyang government basically served at the whim to whichever warlord held the strongest army and largest presence within Beijing at any given time. This episode covers the death of Yuan Shikai, China during WW1, the formation of the Warlord Clique's and the rise of the Anhui Clique. The first major war of the Warlord Era was the Zhili-Anhui war where Wu Peifu's forces fought against Duan Qirui's. Zhang Zuolin of the Fengtian clique would aid Wu Peifu and the Zhili Clique to defeat the Anhui Clique, but at what cost to China?
