We are approaching the end of the Virginia section of the Appalachian Trial. This was the longest of our section hikes, completing 95 miles of the trail south of the Virginia Tripple Crown. My companions are members of a local trail club in Pennsylvania. We have hiked hundreds of AT miles together over the past few years.
