Meet a Fellow: Camellia Bryan on Misinformation about and Resistance to Diversity Initiatives

Hi! I'm Camellia Bryan a Postdoctoral Fellow at GATE. My research has focused on promoting the de-stigmatization of marginalized social identities in organizations through understanding how stigma holders resist stigmatization and how organizations can go about overcoming resistance to diversity from employees belonging to dominant social identity groups. In my current research, I explore how resistance to diversity initiatives may be interpreted by members of marginalized groups and how challenging diversity resistance can translate to competitive advantage for organizations.
