Pico is an incredibly unique winemaking island in the Azores (Açores) archipelago, being the 2nd wine region in Portugal that's declared UNESCO World Heritage site after Douro. Today, I'm bringing you a superb wine from Pico -- A Cerca dos Frades, by Tito's Adega, from the local grape variety Terrantez do Pico. This incredibly gastronomic and delicious wine will make you salivate, packed with flavours of the sea, the volcanic minerality from the lava soils which the vineyards are planted, and the magical blend of elegance and salinity, as influenced by the Atlantic winds. I dare you to taste a more lively, vibrant wine than this! This was a true highlight from my visit in Pico Island, and I'm super thrilled to be featured this today.
