Pearl Pass is a connector trail from Crested Butte to Aspen. This trail has seen a lot of erosion in the last few years especially on the Crested Butte side. All the pot holes and the mud pit are much deeper than the last time I did it. Not a great trail for a stock jeep. With 37" tires and 4.5" lift my diff was scrapping bottom in the mud. The rocky obstacle on the Aspen side looks completely different than the last two times I was there, and it's a little trickier to negotiate. Note for those attempting this trail, my camera batteries died just before the toughest sections on both ends of the trail so there's some rocky twisty sections that aren't shown here.
