His Eminence, Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou talks about the holy Elder Evmenios Saridakis (✝1999), his confessor while in life, to “Gus Tsin,” the YouTube channel of the Holy Transfiguration Monastery (founded by St. Porphyrios of Kavsokalyvia) in Milesi, Attiki. Elder Evmenios Saridakis was canonized as a saint by the Ecumenical Patriarchate in April 2022, after this interview took place and his memory is celebrated every year on May 23. The Metropolitan gives several accounts of his interaction with the leprosy patients in the chapter, 'The lepers and the sanctified women of the leprosy-hospital' of his book "Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou Homilies, Words of Empiric Theology of Holy Fathers and Mothers, Vol. A’, Theomorphou publications, (2020)," pp. 319-326. Unless I am mistaken, the same book is being translated in English by Uncut Mountain Press.
