【PC-98 Arrange】 妖星乱舞 (Dancing Mad)

An attempt at a PMD cover of "Dancing Mad", the final boss theme from Final Fantasy 6. I started trying to slowly work on this after I went through all of the Pixel Remasters in sequence the other month. There's an excellent MIDI transcription of the whole track floating around online that I used as the basis for this cover. I think Kefka is one of the best villains in the series, and it really shows in the boss theme. I particularly like the final movement. Recording the whole cover without hiccups was a huge pain with my potato laptop though. It has Kefka's laugh, which uses the ADPCM channel. Along the way, I decided to try implementing the ADPCM-B encoding and conversion to PPC bank from scratch in my free time, out of curiosity. Oh, and thanks everyone for getting me to 200 subscribers!
